moody bridge road brings together icons from the northampton roots and alt-country scene: susan took on the role of producer for the record with co-producers mark alan miller and joe podlesny, and is backed by the legendary lonesome brothers (featuring ray mason and jim armenti, with keith levreault on drums). other valley musicians include: rick king, doug beaumier, eric lee, anand nayak, dennis crommett, steve robillard, tom rickard and jj o'connell.
released in december 2000, place called lonely is a diverse collection with country, folk and r & b influences. the record was co-produced with engineer jim weeks at cloud cuckooland studios in northampton, mass. a number of great valley musicians play: jim armenti and ray mason of the lonesome brothers on guitars, mandolin and bass; keith levreault on drums, doug beaumier on pedal steel; jim weeks on electric guitar, keyboards, percussion and harmonica; with guests jon weeks on saxophone and jeff potter on keyboards.
